K-State Wesley, a United Methodist campus ministry at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, is seeking a Resident Life Director (RLD) for the 2019-2020 academic year. The RLD is responsible for overseeing the Christian residential living environment at K-State Wesley. Job duties include administration, programming, policies, communications, services, and personnel management.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.  Residence Life experience is preferred and strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required.

The RLD position is a part-time, 11-month position, from July 1st, 2019 – May 31th, 2020. Hourly wage of $15.00, up to 25 hours a week. Live-in housing provided with a single room on the 1st floor of the residence hall (with students living on 2nd and 3rd floors). Housing includes room, electricity, gas, water, trash, laundry, and cable/internet service. Total compensation/benefits package estimated at $26,000.

Georgia has been working in campus ministry for the past several years at colleges all over the country, and she is excited to be continuing in ministry at K-State! She will be in her third year of a Master of Divinity degree at Iliff School of Theology in Denver CO, finishing her degree through Iliff’s distance education program. After finishing her degree, Georgia hopes to continue working with college students as they explore discipleship and faith in Christ. A native of the Midwest, she enjoys hiking, camping, baking, roadtrips, snow days, and large dogs.
