Rev. Mitch Todd is the Campus Minister at Wesley.
He grew up with two Presbyterian pastors for parents, but became United Methodist when he was attending Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. That’s where he met his wife, Rev. Dr. Jan Todd. Jan is also an ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church and is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Emporia State University. They have a cute and cuddly dog named Tom Petty.
Mitch’s first appointment, in 2001, was as Campus Minister for what was then called United Methodist Campus Ministry at K-State. He served here for 5 years. Since then he’s served churches in Manhattan, Topeka, Lawrence, Mulvane, and Wamego. Coming back to KState Wesley is a return to a passion of his: Working with college students.
Mitch likes writing, audio books, sci-fi movies, and playing the drums. He also likes making bad puns, so watch out! He’d love to talk with you about campus ministry. Feel free to reach out to him at kstatewesley@gmail.com, or text/call him at 785-640-9900.
