Why We’re Here

Loving God. Loving People.

We are a Christian campus ministry that grows together through worship, small groups, serving others, seeking justice, sharing meals, and having fun! We also have a residence hall that exists to offer a place to live that values these things in an amazing community of faith!

We are a ministry of the United Methodist Church in the Great Plains Conference. You can learn more about what that means here. Spoiler alert: we are big on grace and connecting our personal faith with service in the world that makes a difference.

While we are United Methodist, all students are welcome and celebrated in this space. As a faith community, we value diverse understandings and backgrounds welcoming people of all faiths or no faith at all. Wherever you are on your faith journey—drifting away, questioning everything, or completely loving Jesus—there is a place here for you!

We are located at 1001 Sunset Ave., just west of campus at the corner of College Heights & Sunset. There is parking on site or it’s not too far from campus to walk!

Our mission: Providing a place of hospitality and community that leads persons to a commitment to God in Christ, so that they can go forth in service to others and the larger world empowered by the Spirit.

Come check us out! You already belong.

Meet Our New Campus Minister

Rev. Lora Andrews

Hi! I’m Rev. Lora Andrews and thrilled to be your new K-State Wesley campus minister! I started July 1, 2023 and this is a full circle moment for me. I discerned a call to ministry while a student at K-State and active in Wesley. I graduated with a degree in Secondary Education (English) in 2011 and Vanderbilt Divinity School with my M.Div in 2014. I am a Kansan—I grew up in Hillsboro, pastored in Winfield and Lenexa, and let me tell you—there are Wildcats everywhere! My wife and I live in Kansas City, KS with our two dogs, Winnie and Dottie. We can’t wait for hikes on the Konza, coffee from Radinas, raspberry black bean dip from So Long Saloon, Call Hall ice cream, and as many athletic events as we can fit in! K-State Wesley and its supporters nurtured my faith and calling, and I’m excited to be back in a spot that I love full well. Reach out and let’s chat! Go Cats!
